Worked in the education sector as a teacher then school improvement officer. I am passionate that the one chance that young people get in education should be the best one. Now Ofsted Inspector for Schools and education consultant. I have worked as an associate tutor in teacher training and as a consultant to the Department for Education. I also QA the work of three Appropriate Bodies for their NQT induction programmes. A past president of the Geographical Association, the professional body for geography teachers, I work as a one of their Geography Education Consultants. Currently I am also a volunteer officer, heading up their youth offer, Worldwise.
