Tamar Chachibaia is a Medical Doctor and university professor, with working experience in nanotechnology research and development since 2005 and is involved in innovative curriculum development. Tamar is a holder of joint degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain and Tbilisi State University, Georgia which was attained in early 2016 successfully with honoris summa cum laude. In 2011 Tamar was awarded prestigious fellowships from the governments of the USA, the Netherlands and Italy, which was followed in 2012-2014 by Erasmus Mundus Joint doctoral scholarship between USC, Spain and TSU, Georgia.
