For the past 11 years ChicoButter aka ChicoButta is a hour and half radio show on KZFR 90.1 or KZFR.org every saturday from 1:30-3pm (west coast time) hosted by DJX dedicated to playing music, sound creations, spoken poetry created in the greater northern california area. Way up in the Northern part of California past Sacramento is a small super creative artistic college town oasis called Chico (chi - co). This town is filled with music from all over the world from electronic drum and bass to reggae to jazz to hip hop to metal to folk to chants to all around great songwriters, composers, and poets. Much of the music is world class but hasn't made it out of this Oasis called Chico...so this
