While I appreciate the opportunity to get to know folks, I have a personal FB friend acceptance policy. I will only accept a friend request for the following reasons: 

1. We are close friends and I know you well. 
2. We used to be friends and lost contact but found each other on FB 
3. We are family 
4. We work or have worked together either through employment, association, volunteering, civic group, etc. 
5. We attend the same church 
6. We travel in the same circle and have mutual friends
