Toshio Koide is a senior researcher within the New Technologies and Research Group of the Optical IP Develop Division at NEC Corporation of America. He joined Central Research Laboratories at NEC Corporation in Japan in 2004, where he has mainly been involved in research and development targeting distributed processing technologies, OpenFlow, network control technologies, and the design of Software Defined Network (SDN) control platforms. He received his Ph.D degree in information systems from Soka University, Japan in 2004.
