This presentation is about a 5-year-old boy named Miles Scott who loves comic books and is a leukemia survivor. His wish was granted through Make-A-Wish Foundation to be Batkid for a day in San Francisco. Make-A-Wish believes that granting wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions can significantly impact their lives, and on average they fulfill a child's wish every 38 minutes in the United States and territories. Miles' wish was to play the role of Batkid and help save the city.
5. Make-A-Wish速 grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a lifethreatening medical condition in the United States and its territories,
on average, every 38 minutes. We believe that a wish experience can
be a game-changer. This one belief guides us. It inspires us to grant
wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.
