Ugur Bakan is Research Assistant in the Faculty of Communication at University of Ege, Turkey. He has published extensively on media and digital culture. He took his MA degree with his thesis entitled “The Evaluation of the Effect of Critical Thinking Skills over Primary Education Media Literacy Courses”. He took his PhD degree with his thesis entitled “The Impact of Individual Differences on Social Capital Formation: A Comparative Analysis on Facebook and LinkedIn Users". He has many works published in national and international journals.
