Java.IL, as the name implies, is an Israeli user group focused around Java technologies (this includes both Java-the-language and the JVM platform). Although the group in its current form only exists for a few months (more on this later), the group spans over 500 members, with monthly meetups typically spanning 50-100 attendees. http://www.meetup.com/JavaIL/
