As Assistant Director for Communications with Virginia Sea Grant, I lead communication and marketing activities to promote the Virginia Sea Grant organization, and I train students and researchers to effectively communicate complex science. I develop key messages for public outreach and marketing strategies for getting those messages out to audiences, including internal and external audiences.
