I have 18 years open pit, and 4yrs underground coal mining experience. The open pit experience is in various commodities such as coal, iron ore, copper and nickel, gold, and lead, not just in Southern Africa but also worldwide. My skills are based on a strong operational management experience, vast mine optimisation, mine design and production scheduling to support safety, operational efficiency and cost goals. I’m a competent person to convert resources to reserves and significant experience in mine cost modelling, equipment selection, productivity evaluation and scenario analysis on various technical study levels.
