I am a political analyst and commentator based in Yangon(Rangoon), Myanmar(Burma). I have been writing commentaries and articles in local daily newspaper and journals on the domestic political issues of Myanmar(Burma). I have been monitoring and making assessments on Myanmar's politics for more than twenty years. I am a former student leader and a former political prisoner in Myanmar(Burma). I was one of the leaders of All Burma Federation of Student Unions in 1989 and was detained in June 1989 for my role in Myanmar's student movement as a leader.
