Followed my mother and grandmother's steps, I chose pharmacy as my undergraduate major at China Medical College, Taiwan in 1971.
After working for a renowned pharmaceutical firm as a medical rep for two years, I went abroad in 1978 to pursue my further study. I found myself extremely interested in healthcare-related system and organizations in the USA and earned myself a master degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Mississippi in 1981.
