Zahrina obtained her bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Universitas Indonesia in 2015. Afterward, she started join CHEPS UI as research assistant, involving in a large scale project entitled Increasing Cigarette Excise as A Key advocacy in Reducing Cigarette Consumption in Indonesia. She also contributed in to other studies such as project Cost of Ilness Influenza disease, Cigarette excise to finance JKN and Health Systems Strengthening.
