The spark that ignited my path into recruiting happened very unexpectedly during a difficult time of career transition from Higher Education, where the opportunities in my original field of study were very limited, and the insurmountable pressure of student loan debt was increasingly becoming suffocating.
I needed to make a change.
After taking a risky leap of faith, I fell completely backwards into recruiting and talent acquisition over 2 years ago and never quite looked back. Although I collect a paycheck, my philosophy towards the work that I do is this;
