I am Jaquelinah Mkhabela doing my third year studying B Ed Senior Phase and FET teaching at the University of Johannesburg. My majors are History and Psychology which becomes Life Orientation under teaching. I have experience as a student teacher in three different schools so far. My journey has showed me that teaching is my skill and therefore increased my love for it. Personally I am extroverted thus making me have great collaboration skills. As a teacher I believe that learners' prior knowledge matters, it helps them link the content with personal experiences or memories which betters their understanding, which is why I consider it as being important.
