My masters project work is on bioavailability enhancement of curcumin by cocrystalization, Pharmacologically, curcumin has been used as a traditional medicinal agent in Ayurvedic medicine for ∼6000 years. studies have demonstrated that curcumin functions as an antioxidant, antiinflammatory, and anti-atherosclerotic; inhibits scarring, cataract, and gallstone formation, promotes wound healing and muscle regeneration.
