As a Marine Superintendent I act as the shore liaison with the Masters of the vessels as first point of contact. My job responsibility includes – - Providing navigational and operational information and support to Masters. - Ensuring the efficient and satisfactory performance of the vessels to charterers' requirements. - Assist in selecting suitable Master, deck officers & ratings for vessels under his care. - Verifying the work and performance of Master, deck officers and rating. - Understanding of relevant rules, regulations, code and guidance - Prepare and Monitor budget, expenses, purchases and cost control related to deck department.
