What's an ND, you say? In a nutshell, we typically practice as primary care physicians, with an emphasis on helping the patients body and mind do what it's designed to do - namely heal and thrive. Our main perspective is that if you can help remove obstacles that are preventing the body from doing it's thing, that you can impart a lot more long term benefit with the patient than by simply removing the surface symptom of today with drugs, adjustments or surgery. That's not to say that those don't have their place - they do, just not right at the start
