I believe in lifelong learning. Formal education is my addiction. I am a first generation college graduate. In 2004, I earned a Ph.D. Last year, I returned to UAB to earn a MBA. After retiring from Birmingham City Schools, I plan to go law school.
I am the Executive Director of Instructional Technology for Birmingham City Schools. I started out as a Chemistry and Biology teacher. Chemistry is my true love. I am a workaholic and love to learn. I aspire to be a Superintendent of a urban school district someday. I also plan on going to Law School after I retire from Birmingham City Schools.
