Antonio Dias de Figueiredo is an educator, author, researcher, and consultant on Strategy & Quality in Higher Education and on IT in Learning & Education. Between 1984 and 2007, he was a Full Professor of Information Systems at the University of Coimbra, where he created in 1992 the research Center for Informatics and Systems (CISUC) and in 1994 the Department of Informatics Engineering.
