Adrian is Head of BBC Connected Studio and Head of North Lab for BBC R&D. He is also Joint Head of BBC Taster which launched in Jan 2015.
He is the Head of R&D’s North Lab located in MediaCity, and leads the research section focused on future of User Experience, comprising up to 18 research engineers and scientists focused on the changing relationships between content, audience and technology.
He leads the BBC Connected Studio initiative to grow its current approaches of open innovation of online products into a BBC-wide initiative.
Adrian was responsible for the creation of a new kind of world class R&D facility opened in MediaCity:UK in 2011.
