Currently working on a PhD project on Water Vapor Estimations from GNSS Signals for Numerical Weather Prediction in Ghana. The ultimate aim is to use PPP or Network Positioning techniques to compute Zenith Tropospheric Delay (ZTD) Products. The Integrated Water Vapor contents will be retrieved from the ZTD. This will be achieved based on the concepts of GPS Meteorology proposed by Bevis et al. in 1992.. GPS Meteorology have demonstrated massive improvements in spatial and temporal sampling of water vapor observation. Again, GNSS precipitable water vapor (PWV) is a useful source of humidity information for Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) assimilation.
