Since becoming an Executive Board member of Auburn Youth Centre in 1995 during my late teens, I have gained insights into decision making processes at local government level and have learnt to interpret such things as policy and procedure documents, funding stipulations and financial reports and carry-out duties under best practice standards of compliance.
