Alberto Alemanno is Jean Monnet Chair in EU Law & Risk Regulation at HEC Paris. He is also Adjunct Professor at Georgetown Law where he teaches Global Risk Regulation and a qualified attorney at law in New York. Prior to join the HEC faculty, he clerked at the European Court of Justice and at the European General Court. He previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges.
Alemanno has also provided advice to a variety of organizations on various aspects of European Union law, WTO law and risk regulation. Among other organizations, he has advised on projects involving the OECD, the European Commission, EFSA and the European Court of Auditors.
