As Marion King Hubbert's peak-oil theory already foresaw over five decades ago, fossil fuels depletion is imminent. If the insatiable need of energy is to be managed, the solution to this global issue can only follow two logical pathways: decrease the rate of fossil fuel depletion and improve or discover technological know-how to harvest alternative fuels from renewable resources.
