Amanda Van Over was born in York, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Tampa, FL. Her background includes many adverse situations that have shaped her into the strong professional young lady she is today. In 2003, Amanda completed her military training at Lackland Air Force Base and was stationed at Moody Air Force Base located in Valdosta, GA under the 820th Security Forces Command. She served during Operation Enduring Freedom & Operation Iraqi Freedom peacetime/wartime settings through her tour of duty. Amanda was deployed that same year to Baghdad, Iraq where she was a part of the capture of Saddam Hussein, otherwise known as Operation "Red Dawn".
