The "Transversal Area of Social Economy" is a form of collaborative work involving faculty members not only from the School of Economics and Management, but also from other schools of the Catholic University of Portugal, in Porto. This transdisciplinary team manages a cluster of about 30 ongoing projects, in the following domains: - a Master Programme in Social Economics (7th edition is ongoing); - a Post-Graduate Programme in Management of Social Economy Organizations (4th edition is ongoing); - participation in five international research projects on social innovation, changes in welfare services across Europe, child well being indicators and the socioeconomics of the forest sector; -
