I started my career as a Commissioned Officer in the Indian Navy for 7 years where I served in various leadership and techno-managerial roles. My key appointments were - Chief Engineer of a missile firing ship where I was responsible for the entire operations and maintenance of the ships machinery and equipment and was also responsible for the HR aspects of the crew.
