I am a PhD student in population genetics at the University of Ferrara. I am mainly interested in how genetic variability changes through the space and how environmental factors have influenced past human migrations. I also have a background in ecology and my Master's thesis focused on the study of broad ecological patterns in species-habitat association. During my undergraduate internship I have also been involved in behavioral ecology studies, particularly aimed at testing fundamental questions in sexual selection.
I am passionate about communicating science to the general public and use every method available to do so, including a regularly updated blog.
