Professor at Faculty of Sport from University of Porto. Obtained a Ph.D. in Sports Science (2007), a first master in High Performance Training (1998) and a second master in Public Health (2004) from University of Porto. For over 15 years, worked as football coach in different clubs (Boavista FC; Associação Académica de Coimbra; SC Salgueiros; Leixões SC) and competition categories (from under-10 to professional).
