I grew up In Laurelhurst in Seattle after a brief time on Queen Anne Hill. I graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1969 and graduated in Communications from the University of Washington in 1973. That same year, I married my high school sweetheart, and we are still happily married. After following my husband to UCLA, I worked at Los Angeles Magazine and Dailey and Associates Advertising before touring Europe, Ireland, Egypt, Israel, Soviet Union and everything in-between. Then, while attending Cal State Dominguez Hills in Paralegal Studies, I had our first child, Joseph, in 1978. I changed careers completely and worked at pre-schools and the YMCA with parents and toddlers. I also received a
