Anoop Ray was born in Kishangarh-bas a quaint town, not known to many, nestled between the Aravallis, Rajasthan in 1988. Ray works predominantly in the medium of painting, but includes photography in his largescale installations. Ray completed his BFA-Painting at the Amity School of Fine Art in Noida in 2013. Ray also did his Diploma in Photography at Academy for Photographic Excellence in New Delhi in 2009.
