Anthony Arrott began his career as a bulldozer operator for the British Columbia Railway. After receiving his education in physics, physiology and biomedical engineering at McGill University and MIT, he founded and managed a scientific instrumentation company, Payload Systems, that flew the first commercial space experiments aboard the Soviet space station Mir. At the end of the Cold War, Arrott developed and managed a defense conversion consulting practice at Arthur D. Little focused on satellite communications and imaging technologies. Arrott has performed numerous technology due diligence studies for financial institutions investing in large new communications infrastructure projects.
