Surat Al Faatihah (Opening) revealed in Mecca and consists of 7 verses are the first letters down completely between the letters in the Qur'an and the letter belonged Makkiyyah. This letter is called Al Faatihah (Preamble), because the letter is opened and the beginning of the Quran.
