I live in a Nation robbed of its own State 300 years ago; in a land now governed, and repeatedly mistreated, by a State that despises my language, my land and its people. A State that has a huge fiscal deficit with my Nation; the Spanish State takes 22.000.000.000 Euros from Catalonia each year. I wish for and work toward a free and independent Catalan State. I live in Catalonia. But I don't blame the Spanish State for the state of my Nation. We're all to blame for letting this carry on like this for so long.
