Co-ordinator and participant of many institutional development and investment projects. Proficiency and unique experience in the development of legislation in such areas as Air Protection, Ozone Layer Protection, Greenhouse Gases, Green Techologies, Chemicals and Risk management with close links to Energy, Industry and Transport sectors. Has been a professional sailor. Afterwards - judge of regattas and chairman of Latvia's Sailing Union.
