An ecologist by training, Dr. Ashish Rawat has extensively worked on the Bioengineering of Landslides in the Himalayan Region of Uttarakhand. He attained his Doctoral Degree in Forestry (Forest Ecology & Environment) from the esteemed Forest Research Institute, The biggest and foremost Institute for Forestry Research & Education in South-East Asia, which is an Autonomous Body of Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India.
