Graduated in Microbiology at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2007), has a Master of Science (2010) and PhD (2013) in Biochemistry from the Chemistry Institute, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Has international experience by enrolling in research projects at Lund University, in Sweden (2006-2007), at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), in Japan (2008-2011) and at Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas (CIEMAT), in Spain. (2012- 2 months). Has joined the National Institute of Technology, a research center of the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, in 2013, where she holds a permanen.
