Barbara Avdis is the founder and Managing Director of Yades Greek Historic Hotels in Greece (www.yadeshotels.gr) and the Chairman of theHistoric Hotels of Europe organization (www.historichotelsofeurope.com )
With an extensive career in Hospitality Management in Europe and the US, Barbara settled in Greece, spotted a gap in the tourism sector for small hotels networks, combined it with the need of Greece to invest in alternative forms of tourism, and together with the need to preserve the cultural heritage of the country, she created Yades Greek Historic Hotels, a unique network that brings together the luxuriously appointed historic hotels in Greece promoting successfully history
