I've been married to Geoff, the love of my life, since 2003. I have the cutest doggie in the whole world, Roger, whom we rescued in May of 2010. I have a BA in English from Campbell University and an MA in English from NC State University, but my day job has nothing to do with literature. I am lucky enough to teach freshman English at Campbell, which seems to be a steady part-time gig, at least in Fall semesters. Most of my family lives in Pennsylvania, but I have no desire to go back there to live again. I'm outspoken, soft-hearted, and most of all, unabashedly MYSELF.
