The AVNET project is a multi-phased project that will be rolled out to all other major airports in the country upon the successful completion of Phase 1 at the Port Moresby International Terminal (PMIA) i.e. Domestic & International terminals.
Phase 1 of the AVNET Project was focussed mainly on the upgrading and installation of airport operational systems which include:
1. Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS)
2. Flight Information Display System (FIDS)
3. Airport Operational Database (AODB)
4. Passenger Reconciliation & Tracking System (PRS)
5. Airport Billing System
6. Aircraft Tracking and Identification System (ATIS)
