Success in life was all I ever wanted. Like most kids I wanted to be loved, sheltered, fed and safe. I spent the best part of my childhood living on the streets. Looking back being homeless was alright, I had only the painful memories of my short lived family life to compare it too. My family consisted of a violent father, a gambling mother, two big brothers and two big sisters who were dealing with similar troubles, each to share my development years with. Like most kids they also did not know how to deal with what our younger years provided. Being the smallest of the five kids I became their sounding board to release their pain from the oppression. They certainly got some sounds out of me.
