About
Trained in public health, business and environmental sustainability, Betsy works to address social inequalities and promote environmental sustainability by facilitating the collaboration of public and private organizations. She has worked with a wide array of people on projects in New England and eastern Canada, including urban environmental renewal, elementary school education in ecology, HIV/AIDS education for prison-based healthcare providers, and mitigating the health impacts of hydroelectric power development on native populations in Northern Quebec. An outdoor and sports enthusiast, Betsy also coaches the Brown University women’s ultimate frisbee team.
