I have been working with health informatics since 1980, being a founder of the Brazilian Health Informatics Association in 1986. Besides a solid academic background I also have public and private sector experiences. I am now an independent consultant in Heath Informatics. Her main expertise areas are: standards and electronic health records. In the last two years I've worked with São Paulo City Health Department, The Brazilian Agency for Supplementary Health, ZILICS a private company dedicated to health Informatics systems development. I also worked as a WHO consultant for Moçambique in the area of health informations systems, standards and national policies. Presently I am also the coo.
