I've always liked to design things. When I was young, I taught myself to custom paint, airbrushing artwork on anything I could find, eventually advancing to paid work. By the time I was 11—maybe 12, I was painting motorcycles, cars, and radio-controlled airplanes for hire. I was entering national competitions and consistently winning best-of-show trophies.
