The road from volunteering in a depressed neighborhood in South Tel Aviv when I was a student to Birthday Angels took almost 35 years. Years were spent in Informal Education developing programs and training educators and entertainers. Valuable skills and lessons were learned which enabled me to conceive and realize a program that would greatly benefit thousands of Israel's neediest children in a deep and personal way.
