I'm Gitxsan, from the house of Woo'sim'lax'huh, Fireweed Tribe, crest is two baby white owls. I practice my culture and traditional customary laws, including Aboriginal Harvesting Rights, the Feast System (Potlatch), and laws of matriarch. I'm familiar with Gladue Rights for Criminal and CFCSA issues. I understand the basics of the Indian Act. I work with diverse communities, and am aware of systemic barriers experienced by marginalized communities. I voluntarily organize educational presentations for staff and community during National Aboriginal History Month.
