I am 20 years older than I was supposed to be. I was born with a rare liver disease called Gaucher. When I was diagnosed at the age of 5 there was no treatment at the time and doctors told my mother I would probably only live to be eight or nine. Praise God, a treatment was found when I was 7 years old. I was a Make-a-Wish kid and that experience left a lasting impression on my life, and in 2011 I made it my mission to make sure we send as many children on these life changing adventures as possible.
