Peter Brereton is an English for Liberal Arts instructor at International Christian University (ICU) in Tokyo, where he teaches Academic Reading and Writing and other content-based EAP courses. Prior to working at ICU, he was Program Manager of the Center for English Discussion Class (EDC) at Rikkyo University. Peter received his BA from the University of Leeds in French and German, and also speaks fluent Spanish and basic Japanese. He completed his CELTA in 2007 and DELTA in 2013 and holds an MA in TESOL (Distinction) from the University of Nottingham. He is also a Delta Local Tutor and External Assessor, and an Examiner for a number of English language proficiency tests.
