If it's not shared during my 30 second ‘elevator speech’, then there was an emergency in the elevator and i didn’t get the opportunity...I have diabetes. This doesn't define who I am, but there’s little doubt that it’s been an influencing role in my life, and when combined with my education as a clinician / educator and my experiences in industry, it provides me the ability to see the complexities of our health-care system from all of the different perspectives - from the patient, provider, producer, and payor.
